    The staff was accommodating, even arranging special treats for us. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of healthy options. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway.

    One thing to note is that the Headmasters Room has a split-level setup, which might not be suitable for everyone, especially if you have mobility issues.

    Everything was superb, exceptional hotel, the location was best possible very close to the centre of the Galle Fort area on Pedlar Street as well as the whole old Fort. We had wonderful breakfasts with more delicious food and properly cooked poached eggs, as example. The property was in the centre of the city.

    The swimming pool was lovely and the breakfast was absolutely superb and enjoyable. The room was huge & air-conditioned, there was an EXCEPTIONALly comfortable bed.

    Absolutely loved the spacious rooms with character! The restaurant had fantastic food, especially the fresh juices for breakfast. One downside was the difficulty accessing our family rooms, but overall, a beautiful experience. 😊

    The lack of standard room features like a fridge or kettle was disappointing!!! The air conditioning in common areas could be improved as it felt uncomfortably warm!!! Additional soundproofing between rooms would enhance privacy!!!

    Luxurious heritage hotel with fantastic staff who go the extra mile. We enjoyed superb meals and a beautifully furnished room. The location is perfect. Plus, the lovely swimming pool was a refreshing retreat after a day of sightseeing.

    The room was spacious and had a super comfy bed, a dream after a long day of exploring! Loved the modern bathroom and cool decor. You could totally chill there. Plus, the location inside Galle Fort was perfect for just stepping out and wandering around. A bit noisy with some kids playing outside one night, but overall, a really enjoyable stay!

    The hotel features fine interior design that enhances the historic charm of the building! I really appreciated how the staff were always accommodating, smiling, and eager to help. The delicious meals served in the restaurant, especially the fresh juices at breakfast, were a good highlight of my stay. I enjoyed the lovely garden view from my room with a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring.

    The noise from children playing outside my room was a bit disruptive on one night.

    Absolutely fine hotel! The staff were super friendly and told us the history of the hotel, really interesting. Perfect location right in the fort, and we had an amazing meal by the lovely pool. Breakfast was the best sri lankan breakfast weve ever had! Would totally come back in a heartbeat!

    only thing was the internet was a bit slow in our room sometimes, and the air conditioning in common areas could be better.

    The restaurant was wonderful with fantastic friendly staff. the bed was comfortable, and there was a bathtub. the location itself was prime, just a walking distance from Dutch Church Galle.
